Emanations (2020)

Enamels on Wood, Augmented Reality
First exhibited at Catharine Clark Gallery, San Francisco, Ca, September 2020

Made in tandem with the Parables of Correction animations, Emanations is a series of small enamel works that explore the microscopic scale imagery that can be found in the Parables animations. The textures and patterns in the paintings establish the building blocks from which the vocabulary of the animations was developed. Some of the Emanations have an augmented reality component that makes visible the unseen forces that issue from molecules depicted in the paintings.
