Social Structure II is an outdoor sculpture for the US Embassy in Sarajevo. The imagery for the panels is drawn from the mountain forests that surround the city. To produce the sculpture, four artists from Sarajevo, Navid Bulbulija, Nela Hasanbegovic, Muhamed Kafedzic, and Iva Simcic were invited to photograph the forest. From their photos, drawings were made and then translated into the patterns and then cut into the aluminum.
