3-Channel Animation
Exhibition at Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Rockland, ME, 2022

With The Fabricators, the collection of animations called Parables of Correction have been reconfigured and interconnected, revealing their relationships to each other and functioning as an organism. Based on an invented group of sixteen related machines, each individual machine is a component in a larger system. All are caught in a loop of perpetual effort. Like workers on an assembly line, the animated laborers make constant forward progress while moving nowhere. The installation consists of a 48’ x 9’ folding screen on which the looped 3-channel animation scrolls endlessly.
