Waste_Generation is the second in a planned series of five animations based on Course of Empire, by Hudson River painter Thomas Cole. This project focuses on the relationship between nature and our cultural conceptions of nature as expressed in painting, architecture, and currency design. The animation, along with light boxes from the series, premiered at Andrew Edlin Gallery, New York in October 2010. Music/Sound Design by Joe Arcidiacono
